Word from Rev. Dr. Annie Arakelian

We give all glory to God for the accomplishments of 2025. The promises of God for this year have been fulfilled in both my personal life and our ministry.

The sacrificial love and unity among our ministry team have enabled us to succeed in what God has entrusted to us. The prayers and support from our ministry family and partners have strengthened and empowered us to carry out the burdens placed upon us by the Lord. We are truly thankful for each of you being part of the Light of the Comforter Ministries family. 

In 2025, we witnessed the fulfillment of God’s plans through our ministry’s support groups, as well as our Healing and Deliverance schools and retreats. God blessed us with a new Healing and Training retreat center, allowing us to expand our territories. 

We are forever grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ, for everything we do is through Him, with Him, and for Him. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.

Ministry Global Outreach

Toronto Inner Healing & Deliverance School

In February, Light of the Comforter Wholeness Haven Academy held an in-person Inner Healing & Deliverance Certification School in Toronto,  Canada. Mariam Arakelian (part of Light of the Comforter’s ministry team) led the course, becoming the first instructor trained under the Academy and through Rev Annie’s mentorship and internship to facilitate this school. It was a joyful and powerful experience, and the 5 graduating students’ lives were forever transformed.

Financial Support to Needy Families and Leaders

The heart of this ministry is to reach and equip more leaders and pastors around the world. We sent donations to address their physical needs, but also were able to give scholarships to individuals in Africa, Kuwait, and India to attend the LOC Wholeness Haven Academy courses.

This year, we had the opportunity to support, minister, supply needs, and bless children of God from these countries:

• Africa
• Burma/Myanmar
• Lebanon
• Armenia

Please keep our partners and friends in each of these places in your prayers. Many are going through persecution, hardships, and challenges. Pray for the leaders God is raising there and that hearts would be prepared for the coming revivals!

Ministry Events

Pentecost Service

It was a powerful time gathering around the time of Pentecost Sunday for worship and prayer.

As we honored, praised, and invited the Holy Spirit, revival fire and living water flowed upon all in the spirit realm.

Angels were lined up in Heaven to be released for the service. The Holy Spirit breathed upon torches in the angels’ hands.

The heavenly army was marching, waiting for the earthly army to be marching in what the Lord had planned.

Some people received new assignments for nations, to operate under the Sent Out anointing. There was impartation to receive prophetic end-time dreams.

There were scrolls of destiny that would be released if people asked for them. The Father held the scrolls in His hand.

Light of the Comforter Ministries had a special service on December 17th, to begin the transition into the new year. There was worship and prayers for individuals, families, and the new year to be anointed with the Holy Spirit’s fresh oil. Rev. Annie Arakelian gave a prophetic word from the Lord about His plans for 2026.

Ministry Support Groups

Our online support groups continued to be offered for women, men, and youth to grow spiritually and in community. Safe spaces were created for them to connect heart-to-heart, share, and be mentored by spiritual mothers and fathers. Discipleship and gentle coaching have been given to all who’ve sought personal breakthrough, deliverance, healing, and spiritual activation. Supernatural breakthroughs have been seen in physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual capacities by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

5th Annual Refreshment & Empowerment Retreat

Plus: a Bonus Day Impartation and Activation Bootcamp!

In December, women from across the US and the world gathered for a weekend focused on spirit, soul, and body wholeness. From joyful fellowship and creative workshops to peaceful moments in nature, every activity was designed to nurture deep transformation.

Incredible breakthroughs and healing were experienced during worship times because the tangible presence, glory, and love of God touched hearts and minds. There were many open heaven encounters where angels and Jesus Himself came to empower and fill all.

Deliverance was experienced by many, freeing them from bondages of fear, anger, shame, and rejection. Impartation and activation of spiritual gifts and callings was experienced as the anointing of God poured out.

There was also a bonus day held as an Impartation and Activation Bootcamp. Women were encouraged to step out in their leadership skills and prophetic gifting.

We give God all the glory for all He did during this retreat! He truly spoiled us with His love and showed His power and faithfulness in whole new levels.

Life Coaching & Internship Program

The heart of Light of the Comforter has been to help individuals in achieving personal breakthroughs and fulfilling their God-given purposes. The Lord put it on our hearts to do this by equipping people to become life coaches who could take on clients to help them meet their personal goals.

Our program was launched in January to equip aspiring coaches with the essential skills to become a certified life coach, enabling them to establish and manage your own coaching business. Through Spirit-led teaching, hands-on activation, and biblical foundations, students have learned how to coach others with clarity, excellence, and anointing. 

There are 3 degree options, and an internship aspect to provide hands-on practice. Students started Degree 1 in January 2025, and will complete it in May 2026.

Spiritual Gifts & Holy Spirit School

Good coaches must be able to recognize and encourage the God-given gifts placed inside of their clients. Therefore, it is a requirement for the students enrolled in the Life Coaching program to complete the certification school “Spiritual Gifts and Holy Spirit”. This school was held for the second time in March 2025 so that each coaching student could fulfill their requirement, and grow in their own giftings.

Graduation Ceremony

In 2025, we had the privilege of awarding graduation diplomas to students in 6 countries who completed either:

• Part 1 of the 1.5 year Christian Life Coaching Certification
• The 3-month intensive Spiritual Gifts Bootcamp

While we acknowledged the students’ great commitment and perseverance during the ceremony, Heaven joined us to celebrate and honor the graduates. New anointing and mantles were released for the pastors, evangelists, missionaries, deliverance ministers, and leaders in the school so they could fulfill the Great Commission, bringing Christs’ light, healing and freedom to the world.
