    God Consciousness

    3 Major functions of the spirit

    1-Conscience (the ear of the spirit)

    The ability to discern right and wrong

    2-Intuition (the eye of the spirit) 

    The ability to discern the lord and sense His presence

    Is the revealing part that provides light for the spirit for supernatural knowledge 

    Ex. word of knowledge, wisdom, discerning of spirits. (does not need the knowledge of the soul) Gal. 1:15-17, Rev. 1:10

    3-Fellowship/worship (the mouth of the spirit)

    The area through which we worship the lord “in spirit”
     John 4:23-24

    • SOUL (Holy Place)

    Self Consciousness

    3 Parts of the soul are:

    1-MIND: what we think

    Conscious: thinking, reasoning

    Sub-conscious: beliefs, attitudes, memories

    2-WILL: what we want, decisions, choices

    3-EMOTIONS: what we feel

    3 parts of the emotion

    *Affection: love (it is a need we have, originated from the senses)

    *Feeling: happiness

    *Desire: pride and lust (anything that has to do with self) self-glory, self-pleasure, self respect, self-love, self-pity

    • BODY (Outer Court)

    World Consciousness

    Through our 5 senses; 

    Sight, sound, touch, smell, taste

    They enable us to communicate with the physical world

    It is an earthly vessel of our spirits

    PAIN IS FOUND IN THE SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY

    Pain in the body is easy to discern and we have amazing medical technology available to minister healing to the physical body. It is very important to discern between pain in the spirit and pain in the soul because the ministry of healing will be different to each area.
    Jesus knew that Judas would betray Him. He washed the feet of the disciples, sat down and spoke a few profound things.  John 13:21 “After Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in His spirit and said, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, one of you will deliver Me up (one of you will be false to Me and betray Me).
    This shows us that “betrayal” is a wound in the human spirit.
