I am pleased to announce the launch of Ministry Support Groups (under Light of the Comforter Ministries) which are free and will meet virtually online. In these groups, discipleship and gentle coaching will be given to help you find your life’s purpose. You will feel understood as you see others with similar struggles and situations talking about how they overcame obstacles through the power of Jesus Christ. Stop struggling alone and come join us to share what is on your heart.
PURPOSE OF THE GROUPS:
Each group has its own theme and purposes but all share the below general purposes. Please check out LightoftheComforter.org for each specific description.
- Educate and equip the body of Christ with teachings on inner healing, deliverance, and mental health support.
- Restore the army of the Lord through prayer, encouragement, and empowerment to walk into their destiny so God’s kingdom may be advanced through bringing light to the world. Matthew 5:14
- Share the Gospel of Christ’s LOVE to bring salvation, healing, deliverance, hope, faith, and comfort.
- Create a safe and confidential space to share and connect heart-to-heart
- Build discipleship within the body of Christ so they can find their purpose in life and carry out unique missions.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Do you feel your heart burning to bring the gospel to the world? Has the Lord been giving you a burden to pray for other countries? Are you facing religious persecution as you lead a church in a country where Christians are a minority?
In this group, you will be prepared for being sent on international mission trips and ministering through persecution and crisis. Leaders all over the world are encouraged to join us to be equipped for their life’s purpose through furthering their education on spiritual needs of their congregations.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Do you find it hard to balance spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical wellness? Do you feel tired and burned out but can’t find time for rest and soul-care? Are you seeking accountability and guidance to be able to make a lasting change? Being in this group will empower your spirit, renovate your soul, and transform your body.
Because the spirit, soul, and body are all interconnected, one part breaking down will affect your whole being. This group will give you the encouragement needed to support your restoration to wholeness and balance in all areas. It will enlighten you to the possibilities of there being a spiritual cause to issues in your physical health, while equipping you to deal with them.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Are you hungry and thirsty to know God, but don’t know where to start? Do you try reading the Word of God on your own but are lacking motivation and understanding of the meaning? Do you want to know His voice so you can receive His wisdom and power to fight through any battle?
The word of God, known as the sword of the Spirit(Hebrews 4:12), is alive and active. When it is released into the atmosphere, it becomes the most potent tool for overcoming, activating and bringing breakthrough. In this group, you will learn to use it as defense against the enemy’s attacks (like a shield against fiery darts in Ephesians 6:16) and a weapon to slay spiritual giants who are in your territory.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Do you feel like you’ve been trapped and stuck in life? Are you experiencing blockages to freedom from addictions, health, compulsions, and torment? If you are desiring breakthrough in a personal battle, attend this deliverance group to receive help overcoming spiritual issues and demonic hindrances to victory.
The ministry of deliverance often involves more than simply driving out demons, but involves tearing down mental strongholds and renewing your mind. After praying the scriptures for spiritual warfare over specific situations and bondages, you will feel free to walk in the fullness of God’s plan for your life and your relationship with Him.
Please note: Though inner healing/counseling is usually paired with deliverance, this group will only focus on deliverance. As the ministry team discerns deeper roots through their prophetic anointing, you will be referred to private counseling sessions with Rev. Annie Arakelian.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Do you have big ideas, but feel you’re too young to be taken seriously? Are you inspired to make a change in the world, but feel overwhelmed and lack confidence? All female youths are invited to join this group, where you will be encouraged and supported as you go on your journey to fulfill your destiny.
Going through hardship, insecurities, and fear doesn’t disqualify you from becoming a mighty warrior for generations to come. Just like Deborah in the Bible, anyone can be used by God to fulfill their purpose no matter their gender, age, or situation with their family. Other women who have gone through many challenges growing up will be able to listen to your struggles and support you through them so you can become the woman God’s calling you to be.

Nothing will be impossible to overcome with God’s Holy Spirit. Though each meeting won’t be the same, each session will seek to cover:
- Sharing testimonies of overcoming insecurity and tragedies through God’s power.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Is it hard for you to live a holy life, resisting temptations? Do you feel alone in your struggles with fear and insecurity? Are your thoughts and feelings too personal to share with those who are close to you? Is your stress and health suffering while you burnout from your burdens?
Adult men who are going through the challenges described above will find a safe space to share in this support group. Other men who have gone through many challenges will support you through your struggles so you can become the man (and bold lion) God’s calling you to be. Come find true community with your fellow brothers in Christ, as you are also encouraged and mentored by spiritual fathers.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Do you want to better understand your child’s strengths and gifts? Are you hungry for more support and teaching about their emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs?
This group will equip parents to fulfill their role as a parent who encourages their children to find their identity. Teachings will focus around caring for your child’s needs and allowing them to express themselves through art, music, and dance. Parents and children will attend the sessions to learn how to learn and grow together.

The meetings will begin with teaching the parents, then quickly transition to applying what was taught with their children present on the call. Though each meeting won’t be the same, each session will seek to cover:
- Teaching for parents about supporting their child’s needs in God’s design.

- Prayers over parents and children for blessing and coming into their full identity/giftings.

GROUP PURPOSE:
Do you feel stuck in grief and hardship after the trauma of losing a loved one, job, community, or dream? Does it seem like your life has broken into a million pieces without a clear way of coming back together?
In this support group, you will learn how to find healing and wholeness through the power of Jesus, and receive a revelation of His purpose for your life after loss. As you trust in the Lord’s ways, He will give you a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair, as He promises in Isaiah 61:3. You will be equipped with tools to overcome the bully of grief and be filled with a new hope to move forward in God’s glorious plans for your life.

Romans 1:11-“I may impart to you some spiritual gifts, so that you may be established”
GROUP PURPOSE:
Have you been asking the Lord for more ways to be used for His glory? Have you been given spiritual gifts that you don’t get to use often? Do you feel like the gifts of the Holy Spirit are unattainable to you?
The gifts of the Holy Spirit described in 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 are attainable to anyone, and are meant to be practiced so they can be refined (1 Timothy 4:14-16). Although prophecy comes from the Lord, it can be delivered inaccurately through humans. Activations will stir in you the growth God wants for you while giving you more faith to move in more bold ways.
This private group(invite-only) will activate the gifts inside of you and give you a safe environment to use them. All of this will be done through learning to hear God’s voice and getting His confirmation. Exercises will range from learning to interpret visions and dreams to asking the Lord for a word of encouragement/scripture for someone.

GROUP PURPOSE:
If you are desiring breakthrough in a personal battle, join us in our weekly inner healing and deliverance meetings. In these sessions, the Lord has been dispersing Heavenly strategy to overcome struggles, along with spiritual weapons. After hearing teachings about our authority in Christ and hindrances to healing in our hearts, you will feel empowered and equipped to continue fighting and see victory.
GROUP SESSION AGENDA:
As we have been worshipping and leading prayers of repentance, healing, and deliverance, there has been testimonies of restoration to spiritual, emotional, and physical wholeness. The anointing spoken about in Isaiah 61 has been poured out and supernatural swords of the Spirit have been given to those who have attended. Hunger and thirst for the word of God has increased, as He’s given greater revelation about His word being powerful to use in warfare.
He has already imparted and activated so much in us so you don’t want to miss receiving what He has for you! In addition to seeing breakthrough, you will leave each session more equipped to fulfill the great commission, to walk in the supernatural, spread the light of The Gospel, and bring His revival fire.
