OCCULT ROOTS_ DIVINATION /WITCHCRAFT AND WORLD OF DARKNESS
God is very serious about occult involvement_there are 101 references in the Bible to occultism and idolatry.
RENUNCIATION deals with the TERRITORY that has been given over to Satan.
Eph. 4:27 “Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].”
1 John 5:18 “18 We know [absolutely] that anyone born of God does not [deliberately and knowingly] practice committing sin, but the One Who was begotten of God carefully watches over and protects him [Christ’s divine presence within him preserves him against the evil], and the wicked one does not lay hold (get a grip) on him or touch [him].” The word “grip” used here means to fasten, cling to, and/or attach.
Involvement in the occult means entering into Satan’s territory. Your involvement must be renounced, otherwise the enemy has a LEGAL right in your life. Your motive for involvement is unimportant_ you are bound as a result of your involvement, no matter if you thought it a game or joke. We encourage you to make a list of your own involvement in the occult, as well as that of your forefathers. Each point must be renounced individually. Close every door that has been opened in the Name of Jesus.
Always keep in mind, there are only two kingdoms two “ LIFE or death.
James 4:7 “7 So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.”
Satan will not go unless he is resisted. Luke 10:19 “19 Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
Practical steps …
*Go before the Lord in prayer and let the Holy Spirit help you make a list of all known sin in the bloodline.
*Look at your father’s family and make a list of all the fruit that you see manifesting.
*Do the same on your mother’s side. The fruit will lead you to the root. If the forefathers have sinned, breaking the Commandments of the Lord, they have made DEMONIC COVENANTS with Satan. God is the One who taught us all about COVENANTS. They are eternal and cannot be broken. God, Himself is a Covenant-Keeping God that gives us the surety of our salvation. Bowing down to other gods and Worshiping at their altars means we have made DEMONIC covenants with Satan that are eternal and we cannot just walk away. How do we get out of these demonic covenants?Nothing else can “dissolve” or cancel these covenants except the Blood of Jesus. When we confess our sins, the Blood of Jesus is made available to destroy these demonic covenants.
If we do not confess, these covenants stay standing in the spirit against us, generation after generation.
NOTE!
The ROOT is the reflection of breaking the First and Second Commandments of God.
The FRUIT is what we see manifesting in people’s lives_the heartache, sicknesses, bankruptcy, all the curses of Deuteronomy 28, and so forth.
Remember to work with the root of the problem … don’t just rebuke the fruit and cut it off. Because the sin has been inherited through the bloodline, you have to ask for forgiveness. God is righteous and therefore must judge and punish sin. “Uncut” roots give Satan legal right to keep us bound. As soon as it is confessed, we can ask the Lord to remove all curses in Jesus’ Name.
1 John 1:9 “9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].”
All tribes and nations in Messiah should also be ministered to in this area. We must also bring to them this good news. Ancestral worship and witchcraft cause bonds of iniquities that force them to look back rather than forward to the great future Messiah has for them. Help them to also live in complete victory. The culture of the person also determines the form of idol worship.
After all “branches” of the occult, rejection, pride, rebellion, bitterness, hatred, and so forth, have been cut off, new branches can be uprooted by canceling the effect of the worship to the idols. The fruit of this will be fear, condemnation, depression, and so forth. Cursing the tree, fruit and seed produced in the person’s life. Commanding the family tree to fall and asking God to consume it with His Fire (Luke 3:8 9) Commanding all idols that were worshipped in the family to fall and asking God to consume them with His Fire. Also, by destroying all witnesses against the person (acts of worship).
Breaking any links/addictions (chains) to idols. Walking away from strange altars that were worshipped at.
Destroying the yoke of slavery (Galatians 5:1). The line of inheritance is very strong, cut the person free from territorial spirits as well. NOW you are naked and orphaned … fatherless.
Go back to the place of conception and remove all gifting, ranking, callings, sicknesses and any demons transferred on the DNA through the bloodline.
Destroy all past, present and future plans of Satan for the person. Cut all spirit/soul-ties with the person’s mother’s and father’s bloodlines. If the person has refused an occultic calling, remove the judgment of Satan from that person.
